Adam Michalski

Guten Tag! My name is Adam, I am a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where I work on the next generation of text-to-speech technology for Amazon's voice products: Alexa and Polly.

I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh. My thesis there was all about creating, from scratch, a Starcraft-like environment for multi-agent reinforcement learning. If that sounds interesting to you, you can read the paper here.

Most of my interests are at least tangentially related to games. This includes, but is not limited to: board games, video games, game theory, game shows, simulated systems where AI agents are playing games, etc.

I am also interested in musical theatre, and have recently picked up acting and singing myself! Fingers crossed that soon I'll be bragging here about landing a role.
